Does my rental time include setup and breakdown?

Yes, your rental time includes both setup and breakdown. Be sure to book enough time to comfortably set up, shoot, and break down within your reserved window.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own gear, including rentals from outside vendors. There’s no extra charge for using your own equipment in the space.

Is the studio soundproof?

The studio is not soundproof. That said, weekday mornings tend to be quiet, and we’ve hosted many interviews and audio shoots without issue. For best results, we recommend booking during less active hours if sound is a priority.

Do you have an elevator?

Yes, there is a freight elevator available for loading in and out. It must be operated by Motta Studios staff. During your session, guests will need to use the stairs unless prior arrangements are made.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is paid street parking near the studio. Make sure to park on the side marked with signs that read: “Permit Parking — All Others 4 Hour Paid Parking.” You can pay at the nearby meters or through the ParkMobile app.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Absolutely. Wi-Fi is available and free to use during your session.

Do you have AC and heat?

Yes, the studio is equipped with both air conditioning and heat to keep the space comfortable year-round.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Full payment is required to secure your booking. You may reschedule up to 48 hours in advance.

  • More than 48 hours in advance: Full refund

  • Within 48 hours: 50% refund

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

Bookings start at your reserved time. If your session runs over due to a late arrival or extended setup, overtime charges will apply.

How long does it take to process a refund?

Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
